SCAD Celebrates Pierre Cardin
When it comes to longevity and reach, few can equal fashion designer Pierre Cardin. Cardin is the Madonna of the fashion world: ageless and prone to perpetual reinvention. A solo exhibition at the Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta’s SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, “Pierre Cardin: Pursuit of the Future,” highlights Cardin’s garments from the ’50s to the present day, a remarkably enduring output created by one of the industry’s most influential designers.
